Chris is a reputable banker, accountant, economist, marketer, Management Consultant and entrepreneur. He has Twenty Four years’ experience in the banking industry in Nigeria cutting across specialisation in Commercial Banking, Banking Operations, Retail Banking, Public Sector, Consumer Banking, Relationship Management, Customer Service, Credit Analysis, Risk Management, Marketing, Project Management/ Finance.
At various times in the Banking Industry he was the Sterling Bank Plc Regional Business Executive, South East covering Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Delta and Edo states. Also, he headed various regions, branches and Head Office Departments covering the following business areas and locations: Branch Development, Credit and Marketing, Branch Management, Branch Operations in Lagos, Enugu, Onitsha, Aba and Nnewi before joining EPIC CAPITAL (IFCS) in her drive to help create employment to some youths and further assist Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSME) through trainings, facilitation and financial empowerment.
He joined EPIC CAPITAL (IFCS) as the pioneer President/CEO in 2019 and since then has been providing leadership for his team in formulating specific business model and strategy for their various clients in the private sector. Also, his job entails developing and delivering on the group’s global strategic plan in the most effective and efficient manner by Leading, managing, developing and motivating members of the Management Team.
His key competencies are in Strategic Planning, Finance/Business Development, Research and Management Consulting.
Chris is a graduate Accountant by training and equally holds MBA (Marketing), Post Graduate Diploma (Management) and M.SC (Economics) degrees from University of Calabar and Enugu State University of Science and Technology respectively. Also, he is pursuing a doctoral programme on Development Economics from Enugu state University of Science and Technology.
Chris work experience started with Anambra Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as a Newscaster in Enugu, and then to the Banking Industry where he served and resigned meritoriously after over twenty years of attaining the height of a Regional Director, South East with Sterling Bank Plc.
He has attended various local and oversea professional, leadership and banking trainings in some countries in Africa and Asia to add to his wealth of experience both in the corporate and business world.
He is a member of the following professional and humanitarian bodies-Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (ANIM), Past President, Rotary Club of Eziukwu Aba, Vice President Membership Development, Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture (ACCIMA). Moreover, he is a Seven Star Paul Harris Fellow having donated USD7000 to Rotary International in support of the campaign to fight Polio world over.
His hobbies include reading, writing, Public Speaking, Traveling, Music, Playing Golf, Lawn Tennis, Squash and Research.
